About 1,000 persons ran and walked across Kingston, Georgetown on February 16, 2025, as part of the inaugural ‘Energise Guyana’ 5K Run/ Walk, organised by the Guyana Energy Conference and Supply Chain Expo (GECSCE). The 5K event was held under the theme: “Energise Guyana: Run Towards Wellness.” Guyana’s President, Dr. Irfaan Ali; Minister of Natural Resources, Vickram Bharrat, and Minister of Health, Dr. Frank Anthony were among those who participated in this exciting event.
