During the panel: Changing Power Landscape, Winston Brassington provided an update on Guyana’s transformative Gas-to-Energy Project at Wales.
The first phase, including the simple cycle power plant and Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) facility, is expected to come online by the end of the year, delivering approximately 228 MW of power and supporting domestic energy production. The full 300 MW combined-cycle plant is slated for completion by mid-next year, marking a significant milestone in Guyana’s journey toward greater energy security, affordability, and industrial growth.
