Alistair Routledge took up his post as President of ExxonMobil Guyana in July 2020.

Alistair received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Heriot-Watt University in
Edinburgh and an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School in Glasgow.

He began his career with Mobil in Aberdeen, Scotland, in 1990 and has served in various capacities in
engineering, operations, planning and commercial functions. He has lived and worked in several
countries around the world.

Before arriving in Guyana, he served in a similar role in Qatar, where he was responsible for leading all
ExxonMobil-affiliated activities and related international joint ventures with Qatar Energy in the UK, Italy
and USA.
