Mike Green is a Managing Director at EY, leading data, analytics, and AI consulting for oil and gas. He works with major operators on M&A integration, agentic analytics, and the design of AI-native systems built for machine reasoning from the start. His focus is the semantic and ontology layer that lets AI interpret upstream data rather than merely retrieve it.

Before consulting, Mike spent his career inside the industry at Chesapeake Energy, one of the largest natural gas producers in the United States. He held leadership roles across IT, financial planning and analysis, and accounting, with a technology remit that ran from field operations and SCADA to ERP and enterprise analytics.
